Since the beginning of time, poets, artisans and children scribbling with chalk have expressed visions and reflections of humanity itself thru roof rats. Sadly, much of this colorful expression has dwelled on plague, disease and pestilence. (see below)

The giant rat would steal into the bedrooms of bad girls and boys at night, after they went to sleep, sort of like Freddy Kruger. So, you see, roof rats really are a precious resource. With a past history that has consistently promoted population control (of humans that is) thru periodic plagues and the such. And not to worry, roof rats are more afraid of you than you are of them. Since roof rats sleep during the day, and generally stay off the ground, we can often co-exist with them with relatively little disease and filth.

Yes, this mighty little rodent has much to teach us about good nutrition. Sailors have often wondered why there are so many rats aboard ships, and why did they get so much better looking as the weeks dragged on? The answer is obvious, roof rats are there to educate us on the importance of eating citrus! If you don't eat your citrus, Rudy and his friends will. Picking and eating the citrus fruit from your own backyard can help prevent scurvy as well as roof rat infestations. |

youngsters.
"A day without roof rats is like a day without moonshine"
Since roof rats eat such a healthy diet themselves, their meat contains a nutritious blend of vitamins and minerals, including the amino acid RATATONIN, which helps promote a good night's rest. If you can't eat your citrus, at least eat your roof rats.
